Arsenal Comeback Stuns Bayern Munich, Gunners Advance to Champions League Semis

London Giants Overcome 1-0 First-Leg Deficit

Gunners Book Berth in Last Four with 2-0 Home Win

Arsenal produced a stunning comeback to defeat Bayern Munich 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, advancing to the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League with a 2-1 aggregate score.

Bayern Munich had taken a 1-0 lead in the first leg at the FC Bayern Campus, giving them a slight advantage heading into the return fixture. However, Arsenal showed great determination and resilience in front of their home crowd.

The breakthrough for Arsenal came in the 68th minute when Vivianne Miedema's powerful header found the back of the net. The Gunners then sealed the victory in the 76th minute when Beth Mead's blistering strike left Bayern goalkeeper Maria-Luisa Grohsner with no chance.

Arsenal's victory is a testament to their fighting spirit and quality. After a disappointing first-leg performance, they rallied together and produced a remarkable display to reach the semi-finals for the first time since 2012.

The Gunners will now face the winners of the tie between Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon in the semi-finals. The first leg will be played on April 18, with the return leg scheduled for April 25.
